The Abarth Punto Evo is produced on the same line as Melfi , where the Abarth Grande Punto was assembled until April 2010 . The new born Abarth has very different lines from the previous Punto , greater power and more advanced aesthetics.  It was presented with the Esseesse tuning kit . The Abarth Punto Evo from June 2010 took the place of the Abarth Grande Punto and in April 2012 was updated and named Abarth Punto . In 2014 the car is out of production and is no longer available on the official Abarth website making this car one of the last of its kind.

The Abarth Punto Evo was born from a technical and aesthetic reworking of the Fiat Punto Evo base. The same intervention had been done for the previous model, the Grande Punto Abarth, but in this new interpretation the aesthetic was much more modified and at the engine level the horses have increased.

The rear of the car maintains the standard Fiat headlights , but the bumper is particularly shaped and enriched by an air extractor similar to that of F1 cars . The rear fog and reverse lights are coupled in the center, and on the sides two air intakes arise in their place. Same thing for the front bumper, much more sporty and enlarged, with two more air intakes on the sides. Skirts and wheel arches on this new version are in body colour, like the rear spoiler and therefore no longer black. Also new are the 17 "rims, but with a " Scorpio Chela" weave . The tyres are always Pirelli PZero 215/45.  Power delivered is 165BHP. 0-60MPH 7.6secs with a top speed of 132MPH.
