Impreza WRX Haukeye

The first generation of 1992 to 2000 established the Impreza Turbo as a performance car to be reckoned with and spawned an equally bewildering array of special editions, culminating in the legendary 22B of 1999 and Prodrive P1 of 2000. 

From a technical standpoint, its successor, presented here, doesn’t disappoint. There is the familiar boxy saloon body, now sitting on a longer and stiffer platform.  It clothes a turbocharged 2.5-litre unit, producing 226bhp with the familiar boxer engine.  Fully automatic all-wheel-drive is via an open differential at the front and a limited- slip item at the back, with a viscous coupling in the centre.

The car will take you to 60MPH in just 5.7 seconds and top out at 143MPH.

Before the Impreza styling went ‘completely pear-shaped’, this last iteration of the design (known as the Hawkeye) is widely recognised as the most attractive version of the face-lift models.

This car is UK spec and has undergone it’s free Subaru UK recall to correct an airbag issue.  That said it has benefitted from spending most of its life in Cyprus, so doesn’t suffer from some of the corrosion issues UK run cars have succumb to.  

The Subaru service book is available, along with invoices.  The cam-belt and water pump was changed 15/9/2016.  The clutch was replaced 12/05/2010. We will fully service the car once a sale has been agreed, ensuing all MOT advisories have been taken care of, along with any flags raised during a Subaru Specialist vehicle inspection.

The car comes with two keys.
